X11CrMo9, 1.7386 - specification and application

High alloy boiler steel for operation at elevated temperatures supplied in the form of pipes, flanges, bars and forgings with a chromium content of 9% and 1% of Molybdenum. The material shows a martensitic structure after tempering and ferritic structure in the annealed state, it is characterized by high resistance to creep/oxidation and cracks and low thermal expansion. Steel designed for operation at temperatures of 550-650C for power and petrochemical industry for pipelines, secondary and outlet steam superheaters, steam and outlet collectors, turbine parts, flanges, connectors, and heat exchangers. Grade close to 1.4903 / F91 / P91 without added Niobium and Vanadium.
